Message: I've heard they're the best. I'm planning on trying a set the next time I buy. Not sure if they have a size with the correct "O/D" for our trucks though.

Message: I have the 15" rims that are wide... Not the ones with the star-patterns, the other ones, they come with the tire & handling group. Right now, they have P275/60R15 Road Huggers on, they make Toyo Proxes S/T's in that same size.:)

Message: i have 20s on my truck and the toy proxes handle nicely but if you arent extremely careful they are prone to getting bubbles. i have had to replace two of them already. i tried to contact the dealers and they told me that they have had lots of problems with them bubbling between the bands. i called toyo and they said that they cant help me because they are made for performance and you need to becareful with potholes. thats bs because i baby my truck and am very careful.

Message: About the Falken's, they don't seem to make the tires you mentioned for a 15" rim.

Message: I run 255/60/17 Proxes on my RT wheels.
They have held up very well but are a bit loud.
Another thing I don't really care for is the
ribbed sidewall. It makes applying any type of
tire care products a pain 'cause everything
gets stuck in the little grooves and flung off
onto the truck.
The "V" shaped tread pattern kind of reminds
me of a tractor tire as well. After about 8,000
miles they've got little cracks between the
tread blocks.
Overall, they're pretty nice and I've received
quite a few compliments on them, but I'll
probably be running a set of Kuhmos when it's
time to replace them.
Do a seach @ tirerack.com for the size you
need, they're prices are far and away the best.
They don't have Toyo's though.
Hope this helps,
Lemmers

Found some brakepads(need new ones) and tires at GREAT prices!!
I think I'm gonna get some Bridgestone Dueler H/P D680 275/60TR15's... Those look nice!! And they're rated pretty high.

Message: After about a month of indecision I bought the Proxes S/T's in 255/60/17 for my R/T. I've put 4k on em so far and I love these tires. They *look* a little taller on the truck, but I rolled my 17" spare with a brand new stock Goodyear up next to the same wheel with the S/T on it... the S/T is only about 1/4" taller.
Yes they are kind of loud, but who cares, it's a performance tire and my truck is loud anyway. You have to strain to hear the tires over my truck, at any speed.
I suppose the Nittos would be an okay choice, but I had a set of NT450's on a 12-second Talon and they are hard tires. Plus in my area they are kinda hard to find. I have friends with the Falkens and they are nice too but the Toyos were $400 cheaper.
I love my Toyos. They look, hook, ride and drive better, especially in the rain, than the Goodyears ever could dream of.
