Subject: extra carb certification sticker IP: Logged
Message: Anyone outside Cali got an extra carb certification sticker? I have a 4.7 and from all accounts the non-carb certified z-tube and 360airintakex are the best. My thoughts are if I get one of these intakes for my 4.7 it should still pass emissions right? Then, instead of ever bothering putting the stock intake back on I could simply place the carb sticker (whether it is k&n or whatever) on the new intake. Thinks this would work or is there someway the new intake may cause me to fail emissions here in Cali?

Message: What year is your truck? I just passed with:
Mopar PCM
Throttle Body
headers
catback exhaut
ignition
K&N intake
M-1 intake manifold
underdrive pulleys
this was in August.
I have a 98 dodge dakota RC with 51000 miles on it.
My emissions were way low. The guy was totally impressed with the numbers that came up with all the stuff i did. I wouldn't worry to much.

Message: A 2002, so I have a while before I'll have to get it tested. I'm really not that worried about it failing the sniffer test just wanted to be on the safe side for the visual inspection
