Message: you can use 90 degree boots, but why would you?? you will have to remove the individual heat risers that shield the plug/boot from the manifolds, and that will shorten the life of your wires and stuff...just stick with the straight ones would be my advice...LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!!! make sure you pull on the boot itself when removing the wires..i pulled the taylor wire right out of the boot :(

Message: only one end of the wire has a 90 degree boot. the other end is straight. the 90 degree end goes on the distributor. and the straight end goes to the plugs. I took the heat shields off anyways, makes things simpler.

Message: Actually this set, for a V8 non specific vehicle, has 90 degree boots on both ends. A buddy of mine gave thest to me as a gift, and I wouldn't mind upgrading the wires. Let me ask you guys this, does Taylor sell straight boots alone without the wires, if so where the best deal goin right now.
Thanks again

Message: I have the Taylor Spiro-Pros on my R/T. You have to take the heat sheilds off with the custom set also. They have a thicker boot than the stock wires so heat isnt a problem i have had them on for over a year and no problems ! I think you can use the 90 degree boots just fine.
