Message: I have a 2002 CC, AT, 4.7, 3:55 LSD. What's the most cost effective way to up the power along with gaining MPG without doing any major mods, or is this even possible? I understand that the engine is just about peaked out by DC. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Message: Your best bet is to work on the "fresh-air" system and the exhaust. The PCM will relearn to take advantage of these items if you disconnect the battery (this will reset the PCM). Beware, the truck may drive rough for a few hundred miles before it "learns" what has been made available to it. Hot-Rodding new cars/trucks is not too much different than it was forty years ago. . .start with a high-flow air filter (like a K&N or similar product) and a free-flowing "cat-back" exhaust (like a Borla system). You will see both the power and gas mileage increases that your searching for!

Message: Texas Todd,
Had a stick for the last 30 yrs or so,
and I spend alot of my time behind a 13 speed driveing equipment! Not into "chirpin" the tires, but you have a good point. This truck is used to occasionaly haul the mail, but most of the time just as a "traveler". Not to be rude, but if I wanted a real kick a** SOB, I'd bought another diesel with 500+ ft/lbs, 6 spd mammy jammer, etc, etc, etc. Know where you're comming from though, and thanks

Message: When it's time for another oil change switch over ALL lubricants to AMSOIL !
You will notice a difference !!!
There are other GREAT mods for the 4.7L but they all cost mega bucks .
