Don't you guys just want to puke when you see a Dodge R/T logo tattoo'd to some lame Ricer car? I mean a car that isn't even a Dodge like on some import? Or a Sport logo or a Chevy SS logo etc or just about anything they can find to ad to their ride?
I live in Phoenix and we have a lot of idiots here.
Look at this pathetic Ricer?
It says "SuperStreet" next the the "fast and the furious"!
They have no clue what super street is? And it is not something you would be able to find driving around on the street especially in a front wheel drive ricer!
I might as well put some "Top Fuel" stickers on my stock Chrysler sedan! Maybe some Ricer would think my car was BAD ASS too?
Seeing the Ricers get more and more stupider is making me really want to build another Hot Rod to show them what fast is!
But it is fun barely beating most of them in my stock sedans too :-)

Are you serious??? When I see those stickers plastered to the Ricers I assumed it was more B.S. just like all the other false stickers that tattoo to their ride. I almost feel dumb not knowing what they meant by it but again why would I know what a Ricer Magazine is?
Super Street that I know of it is a class containing some bad ass dragsters such as a cut up Chevy Monza and a 1000 HP Big Block, Tubbed rear and Slicks breaking the 10 second mark.
Something you will not see in a front wheel driver no matter what they think they got under the hood!
Why would a import magazine call itself SUPER STREET anyway? Thats friggin' stupid as hell.

Sure theres some very fast imports. All it takes is money. The guy in picture above obviously spent his $$ in the wrong place. Thats the thing about the import scene , its more important to buy all that colored Jap crap than to put it into the engine. Its more important to have a certain look than to have a fast car.
Kids are sooo brainwashed by TV , car commercials , magazine ads & especially that movie "The fast and the furious". I even heard some kid say "Its a lifestyle".
You import people are such followers. Like what YOU like not what all your friends like.
I bet you can get more chicks with an old AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR than your big wing and fart can on your little Civic. Bling Bling !

The most consistent argument heard from the ricers is that somebody else that was in some magazine did something to make his import ride go fast. The guys with the fast rides never talk the crap. It's always the stupid guy with stickers and a fart can that talk all the crap. What's the difference between pointing to those fast 8 second magazine import cars and pointing to the 5 second funny cars in another magazine? If it isn't yours or you didn't build it then you are trying to make an argument based upon someone else's money and labor.

Every weekend I go to import meets here in houston (got a lot of friends in the import crowd, so don't give me crap about it :) ) and I can say, my truck is the slowest there by far. Then again these aren't 'ricers' these are import tuners, guys with civic hatches running in 13's in daily driver trim-- you guys ought to meet some of these guys, you'd be surprised how much they know about cars etc. Most of them have a few stickers (most of the stickers are for a club though, not big brands, and big colorful stripes and such) and CF hoods un painted, but that IS the style of that crowd.....at least they have the speed to back it up right?
If you're wondering why I'm rambling about this, it's just to remind you they aren't ALL bad, it's just that most people FOCUS on the bad ones. There's plenty of them who's knowledge of engines would rival more than half of this board, I can assure you.

true , Waltherone there are a few import owners that are knowledgable and are into engine work instead of "the look". I have a friend that has an Eclipse that runs 12s and the thing looks totally stock. Did all the work himself and hes a cool guy too.
Its too bad import guys get people like Dumba$$ (above) who says " Rice rules , and it is the future" Thats the stupidest thing Ive heard.
If rice rules ,Mr Dumba$$ , then how come there arent any winning in NASCAR , Top fuel , Formula 1 , & LeMans-all ultimate automobile racing. Because its all marketing, street scene crap.

Ok sorry I should admit there may be a FEW who know how to build a front wheel drive economy car drag racer. But 99.9% ( that HAS to be accurate ) of them just do the sticker and all show and no go thing because I kick their ass alot with my stock 4 door sedans. But the ones that beat me were lacking the stickers and the 8" tail pipe and I never knew what was coming until it was too late!
Think about it. Before we had Ricers around and you took a Nova or something for example and jacked it up and put fatties on the rear and some stickers and people found out it was stock???? YOUNEVER LIVED IT DOWN and didn't get any respect from the Hot Rodders if you advertised the MUSCLE and didn't actually HAVE the MUSCLE!!!!
And NONE of them Ricers will ever make it to the SUPER STREET class! Just think... a Jet powered funny car, which would have lots more thrust than front wheel drives can could get to the pavement doesn't even touch a top fuel dragster (Jon Force etc)!!!
And Super Street is not too far below that. I think they are around 6 through 8 second rear wheel drive cars. No matter what people argue. You can't get the power to the ground like that with a Ricer. And if you get CLOSE to those results you spent WAY TOO MUCH money!
I'm ready to give up one of my family cars to get a early 90's Mustang or something because I can't stand these Ricers. They need to see more Muscle cars so they find out what FAST IS! I can build me a $6000 Engine and get close to 500 HP and be able to shift that V8 at over 7000 RPMS!
I did it before, I can do it again, but this time BETTER!!!!
Sorry if I offended anyone. But if people are doing some retarded crap we might as well laugh at it!!!

Yeah. I see them on the larger cars and trucks too no doubt.
The thing is, most of the people who do that are the English speaking-impaired.
Like the NIKE sticker accross the back window or the side doors.
And don't go off on me with the prejudice crap. It's an obvious observation and you know what I'm talking about if you've seen the skinny tires on dished out rims one look you know it's a Mexican and ONLY a Mexican driving that car/truck.
There's a fine line between them and the Ricers.
Luckily they don't replicate the true Hot Rod looks much. Except for this time I saw a Honda Accord with fat tires on the back and it was jacked up in the back. Obvioulsly resembling an old school hot rod look jacked up in the rear with fatties on the rear and pizza slicers up front but it was pointless and very very stupid!!!

Saw a old early 90's Civic, total POS, hub caps, minus 1, peeling Earl Schieb paint job, and a big 'ol tail on the thing, but the funny part was the little red stripe along the top of the wing, and upon closer look, I noticed it was clear red PACKING TAPE!! The wing had broken in 2 and the dumb a$$ used packing tape to put it back together!! I even took a pic, I'll post it when I get the roll developed.

I just remembered, I live in the rosenberg area in Texas (for anyone who knows where that is) and abotu a month ago, saw a quad cab, navy blue, with R/T wheels, a hood scoop (looked like those fake scoops you can mount atop a stock hood, but not certain on that), not lowered, and with 5.9L R/T emblems. I wanted to chase him down and ask when they started making QC R/T's just to be mean, but I decided not to. I did go home and cry myself to sleep tho :(

Well, as much as I make fun of the Mexicans, I don't joke about them picking Cabbage or cotton, etc. Those are jobs I wouldn't want to do.
But you can not deny that most Mexicans have this little thing going where they do stupid stuff to their cars to show that simply, a Mexican drives it.
Look at the rediculous Deep dished rims. When you see a Dodge Ram 1500 with tires out wider than the truck doesn't that make you sick? Or the NIKE sticker and some of them now are doing the RICER look but usually add the MExican touch to make sure you know the difference.
If I'm wrong somebody can point it out to me but I don't think you could prove me wrong.:-p

Hey big_torque I agree with you fully on muscle cars get more women then imports. I think that they do follow the movie fast n furious because i never saw any import around my home town until that movie came out. The only two cars that were worth anything in the entire movie are the charger and the Chevelle at the very end. plus i will garuntee that if you dumped the same 10000 into a import and 2000 into a muscle car that the muscle car will be faster. You can still do the same with our trucks just look in the fall 2002 issue of mopar now that dak does 12sec he still spent less then the guy next door with the corvet or the import and he can hall stuff.

I went out and bought a SAAB 900 turbo to drive to work. Ended up having a friend who just happens to be a euro-car mech. do some tuning & it will outrun most ricers in my area. All for $600.00!!

I have been laughing at all this ricer stuff and just had to make a comment. I drive a '00 Dak, 4.7 auto with a few performance goodies. good transportation and it runs ok for me.
Yesterday wife(age 42) and I (57) were out doing some Christmas shopping and had just drove out of the mall when this "ricer" cuts in from of us. This thing is lowered so much there was no suspension. It bounced like hell from just the cracks in the concrete. It had the decals and this huge wing on the back.
Now my wife is a conservative woman, a lawyer to boot. I still love her even tho she doesn't understand the performance thing LOL.
She is looking at this ricer and turns to me and says with a straight face, "Do they use that wing in the winter?" I am lost as to what she means!
She says, "For heat" Still lost I ask her what the hell she is talking bout.
She says.....still with a straight face......."That wing is large enough to be a solar panel"
I started laughing so hard I almost had to pull off the freeway.
We live near Fort Worth, TX and we have our share of ricers here also!!!!
