help! it started this morning, you fire it up and it starts, then dies. If you give it any amount of gas it runs/drives fine. let off, it dies. Even after its all warmed up. any ideas?
thanks.

Bad battery, or loose terminal on the battery are my guesses. Your alternator coudl be going out as well. What does your volt meter read while the truck is running??

I had the SAME exact problem. I replaced the Battery and Alternator and it still did it so I just kept on the gas for a long time until it was able to idle on its own. The problem hasnt repeated itself ever since. ???

Coudl be the IAC solenoid as well. Never thought of that before. If your IAC is bad or sticking, then it won't let any air into the manifold to keep it idleing. It's the sensor on the back of the TB.

check map sensor connectivity, then do a voltage test on it. I had this problem last week.
