"PS you`ll blow that stock engine to pieces with anything over 10 psi"
Twice Is Nice...I know 3 guys here in the DFW area thats all running over the factory boost of 10psi and one threw 3 rods, another blew a head, and the other one just blew the engine entirely. Think its funny you say that when 3 Lightnings just did what you said the Dakotas would do.

Message: I think factory Boost is 8PSI with 8.5CR on the 5.4L and 8PSI 8.4CR on the 4.6L Cobra. So all it takes is 2-4 more psi to blow the engine LOL. Talk about not running de-tuned. If I was Ford, I would take the cobra heads with 32 valves, slap them onto the 5.4L while dropping the CR to 8.1:1 and then running 10psi. But I would rather see a 8L Hemi with a 32valve setup with a screw type supercharger. :) Oyea that's almost starting to sound like what dragters use.

Message: listen guys if you think i have never owned a car that ran 10`s you would be wrong. 1970 chevelle 502ci with 14- 71 blower. i built the engine my self, the heads alone were well over 2500 dollars. i know enuff to tell you stuff about any small, big block. bottom line 360, 408 with over 550rwhp would not run as a daily driver. you did say it had no nos, blower? it has to do with the heads. 2.02 valve would not make that much power period. 2.05 valves maybe would flow that on the bench, but after on the motor, NO. and remember you said you were a daily driver, you could not get good street manners on a .500 plus lift cam. not to mention the duration, single plan intake, in order to make that much rwhp don`t try to tell someone who has been building engines for 15plus years. dodge 5.9 is garbage. cast hyper pistons, powered metal connecting rods. those will not take boost, even with good fuel-air and timing. know i guy with 5.9 RT he had headers, msd ing, i think vortech, and all the tricks, he could not even get 325 at the wheel!!! my lighting runs faster than 110mph in quarter 12`s is about the average. i have had several fast vehicals which would include a sysclone, lets not even talk about what it ran. i own my own house and are quite happy thanks for asking. and as far ford new motors old mustang had 225hp 300 torque 0-60 6.7 new 260 302 0-60 6.0 that is on average. so where is the problem? 5.4 ford tri 260hp 345torque more power than 5.9 the reason i got the lighting is because i like the boost factor. (feel in love with sysclone so ford seemed a good fit) stock lighting run 10-12 psi stock, it will spike on the rev up. i run more than that with no problems, they`re build with forged interals. PS i have seen 4.6 SC corbas in the 10 `s with bolt ons. diaoblo`s makes a great chip for 4.6 SUPERCHARGER
