I have one because it came with my K&N FIPK but what the heck is it for? I mean i hear people talking like it is a performance mod. How is it better than the staight factory one.

All the S bolt is for is to adapt for the offset bolt hole position between the airhat and throttle body, if needed...I have to make one so that I can use the stock airhat on my F&B TB...unless you want to send me yours. ;-)
