Has anybody installed the Gibson Swept Side Single exhaust system on a 2000 Dakota 4X Club? I was wondering if you had to remove the spare tire.

Don't need to remove the spare tire. The exhaust pipe is routed the same way as stock and there are no clearance problems with anything.

Thanks for the reply Dan! Did you ever get a chance to try the Gibson exhaust (3") with your truck at stock hight and 32" tires? I ordered my truck with the optional 32-inch tires.

I'm guessing you mean the optional 31 inch tires...Dodge never offered 32's from the factory. I left my 31 inch spare in its place even though I drive on 32's. Still don't think there would be a clearance issue with the exhaust & spare tire. I've only heard of people having clearance issues when running dual exhaust out the back, but even that can work with some careful exhaust placement.

I run the Gibson swept side on my 2001 4x4 with the 31's and the spare is not a problem.
