I was shopping yesterday and was flipping through the "mopar" magazine...
there's a pic of a dak r/t on the front.
And they have an article on how to make your r/t a 12 sec. truck. Well its about a guy who has made his R/t a 12 sec truck.
its pretty sweet...
just thought i'd let ya guys know.

Goto a major book store and get them to order it in so you will be able to get it there every month.
The mag he is talking about is called MOPAR NOW. In it there is also an article of a 12 sec durango and a couple neons doing the same times

I got that magazine from the book section of pathmark. I especially like the end of the article when they say that the vipers at the mopar meet refused to line up against him. 12.2@ 114.7/433 rwhp with a superchargered club cab with only a 75hp shot of NOS, very nice....

What month's issue are you talking about? I bought the December issue about a week ago and it has a Duster on the cover. Is it the new January issue or is it a back issue?

It's the Fall 2002 issue of MOPAR NOW #20. It also has a 350hp turboed neon 13.1@113mph, Scott Mohlers all motor 10sec neon and a 512 RWHP mid12 sec 5000 lb. 4x4 durango in it. I think the durango is over kill with 10.7 psi kenne bell blowzilla, alky/water injection, a 2 stage 150 shot of nitrous on 120 octane racing fuel. I'd still take it!!

The mag you have is "Mopar Muscle". The mag these guys are talking about is "Mopar Now." I don't have it yet, but I'm going to go look for today.

Mopar Now looks like a really good magazine for the later model stuff. I have always been a subscriber to Mopar Muscle (and High Performance Mopar before they merged) but they deal with more 60's and 70's stuff. There is something in there every moth to keep me going but I think I need to change to Mopar Now. Especially considering how much I want one of those SRT-4's, did you see they dynoed something like 220 at the wheels? heck they are supposedly only rated 215 at the crank, I bet SRT is being conservative, this thing is going to smoke the WRX. I'm sure stock times in the high 13's will be common.

Greetings, all. I'm the tech Editor for both Mopar Action and Mopar Now. MN will continue to be exclusively devoted to "current" Mopars - Neons, Rams, Daks, etc.
I'm always looking for ideas and suggestions as to what you guys want to see, tech-wise. We are tending to concentrate on driveway bolt-ons, but if enough people convince me that a 4" stroker 360 project should be in there, or whatever....
Also, if anybody has, or knows of, any interesing Dodge trucks that we could use for color features, we're always looking. But that's not my department - write to the Editor, Cliff Gromer: cgromer@hearst.com

This really isn't tech, but I'm sure it would interest most everybody here... 4.7 -vs- 5.9. You could do a whole issue on that! Just do it quick before they stick a 5.7 hemi in a Dakota because then this discussion history!
