i called summit racing last night (1800-230-3030) and got hold of Scott the salesman.... asked if they carried any roller rockers for a magnum dodge motor. All he could find was some Crane Cams aluminum roller rockers.... but here is what you need to get....
stud conversion............$89.95
push rods...................$98.69
roller rockers..............$189.95
total = $378.59
but that isnt including the guide plates that come with the crowers that sam sells. that would be like another $30-50. I even asked if they carried crower rockers arms... his response "no, not for the MAGNUM"... then i asked if there were any summit branded rockers for the magnum, "no, just the pre-mag motor".... then i asked who makes the summit brand rockers, "crane cams"...

here is the first clue why that is wrong.... why would a magnum motor have a 1.5 roller rocker available? that would be less than the stock 1.6!
and crower are not aluminum but a stronger and more durable FORGE STEEL... so they fit under the stock valve covers unlike any aluminum needle bearing roller tip rocker.

learn how to spell the word is "entitled," and the rockers listed are for small and big block chevy, listed on page 63 of last years holiday catalog. I just gave it as a price comparison point. The "CRANE" roller rockers listed on the same page are $159.95 for chevies. I was just flamed by an uninformed, ill-educated idiot. Part number for summit 1.5 for small block chevy SUM-G6910 $201.99 call "scott" and you will see I am very right. Part CRN-11744-16 $159.95 also very right acording to last years catalog. you gonna flame you gonna get burned.

Street Guy aka "Intensedik39" aka "burnyouagain" you are digging yourself into a hole. You first claim that Sam over charges by $100 on Crower roller rockers. Why are you now bringing up Summit and Crane brands? Find a place that sells CROWER branded roller rockers for less.......still waiting!
And why do you keep changing names, are you unsure as to what your name is, my name is Brian Maier. If your gonna try and insult someone at least have the balls to sign your real name!
If by chance you do find a place that sells Crower roller rockers for $100 less than Sam i'll write you a formal letter apologising for my sheer stupidity. I may included a cookie too!

just to let you know i am 21 years old have a full time job, pay rent (i can scan my lease if you wanna see), have two cars under my name (i can prove that too), support myself and my fiance and have enough left over to pay the aol bill to b!tch with you.
if you actually read your post about comparing crowers to summit brand you were stating that we (people with magnums, not small block chevies) were getting ripped off. So are we suppose to put small block chevies in our trucks??? You posted bullsh!t and i pissed you off!

street guy. How do you get off trying to compare rockers for chevy engines to rocker for dodge magnum engines?? That would be like comparing the cost of shells for a 22 long rifle to shells for a 44 magnum. Maybe if you weren't such a little kid you woudl realize that Chevy rockers don't fit directly onto magnum engines so your argument has nothing to stand on other than you are a jerk off.

All you ever did in the club was bitch you did not get a sticker. Thats what most people bitched about. The ones that did not bitch were the ones that used the club for what it was for sharing information getting discounts on parts and having fun. I worked my ass off building Dakota USA and because I had some personal problems and a new baby taht was way more important to me than my truck I am Sorry but a club should not die because one persone is not active the members make or break a club and what does that tell you. Hey, I believe I started something here. I never imagined getting this response by authoring the original post of "speedtweaks SUCKS", but I had been screwed by them and come to find out so has about everyone else. Even bernd had to come clean with his poor business ethics. Never intended it to go so far, but more power to us "screwed" consumers who used such a poor company.
In a way I am really happy with this overwhelming response. Bernd, if you just would have refunded my money or talked to me a little, none of this would have ever happened. But you took the low road and tried to duck responsibility, and I'm not sure if you noticed, but it just bit you in the ASS! Good-ridence to your f'n company! I hope you rot in hell!!

Once I saw where this thread was heading, I decided to just sit back and stay out of it. Experience has taught me that the most misinformed are usually those who are most difficult to convince otherwise. But, I agree with HSKR...aren't we comparing apples and oranges here? I don't see the point.
