Message: According to this month's Hot Rod magazine, the stock manifold on the 4.7 produces peak power within %2.2 of tuned 4-into-2-into-1 headers. So you only gain about 5HP with full-length headers. Not worth the trouble IMHO.

Message: True, you may not gain much from a set of headers on your 4.7, but you may gain more depending on what else you do to your engine/exhaust. I've been told by more than one person not to even consider anything other than JBA for this application. I've got a set of silver ceramic coated shorty's on the way.

Message: You must also upgrade you Y-pipe or go true duals to get maximun results from this.
Also people are spending $400 for the 70MM TB and getting far less gains than the headers.

Message: I have a tubo, and components on order for my quad cab. Has krc 206 cams, best bet for gains. I want a ceramic header to keep the heat in for the turbo. I hope to be over 500 hp at the motor. Anyone have any questions let me know. as far as money wise, i'm looking to get it all completley done about $2500 as of now.
