Have been off the internet for a bit and I must say WOW! Is this sh#! true? I always thought they were pretty good, but man, it has been a few months for my iat adjuster and now I know why! I hope they will refund my money, but it sounds like others on this post are still with out a reimbursment. Anyone heard from bernd of tom on this issue?

Ok folks.
Official announcement from the DRTC. We have severed all ties with Speedtweaks. While they have been a good sponsor in the past, we cannot continue to accept their support in light of the way that they have been practicing buisness. This does NOT fall into line with the way that we as a club would like to be perceived. As a result, the club executive board has voted unanimously to pull all links to Speedtweaks from the club website.

Well I don't care who you are, president of some crapy club that doesn't make anything, doesn't sell anything, doesn't research anything, doesn't run a company, doesn't ship anything but a bunch of crap....Bernd is a good guy, good products and if you would get off your fat a$$ and do something rather than sit on a computer presiding over some computer club you might find a world out there where people still don't slam other like you did. Not only did you slam him, you slammed him like your club is some elite better than thou board that makes all the calls and we should actually listen to you. Well screw you and your club! I like SpeedTweaks, they have done me right! And Bernd is still the best Dakota gearhead in the whole world!

To add something constructive to all of this, Bernd finally emailed me back last friday about my order. He told me the order had shipped and would arrive today. Came home from work today and it was sitting on the porch as promised.

Damn DiegoDak, getting all moody. As far as the DRTC being a computer club you are far from the truth there. We have had 3 sucessful National Meets with more participation than any of the DML meets. As far as being elite better than thou board, that is also false. Maybe you shoudl get off your computer and see what we are all about. Having fun with friends. KotaonDubs was even at our last national meet in Tucson and he doesn't even own a R/T, but was more than welcome there. As far as Bernd is concerned, he can be the greatest person with the most gear head knowledge in the world, but that don't mean he can run a business. His business practices this past year have hurt him dearly and lost him a lot of customers because on non shipment of orders, or non-payments to manufacturers. Maybe if you woudl take the blinders off your eyes you woudl see this. Why do you think F&B, Intense Performance, and Fastman would pull thier products if he was such a respectable and honest business man???

Diego, you are a case study in people who are so enamored with free advice and the occasional personal one-on-one troubleshooting efforts that Bernd and Tom have offered here, while losing sight of the fact that it doesn't necessarily reflect how well they can run a business. Two totally different activities and issues.
The people making the decision probably have many more facts on the matter than you do and I'm not sure how your emotional response aids the debate other than to underscore the fact that many posts here are written from the heart rather than the head.
If you had money missing or on the line with little hope for recovery, I wonder if your attitude would be the same?
Have you drilled out a perfectly good TPS sensor today for no good reason other than someone told you it would work? I'll bet someone here has.

You have to call Bernd mid afternoon to reach him. Thats what time I have gotten in touch with him to order parts. I have never used pay pal to order parts from Bernd. This is because paypal sucks and wouldn't even let me sign up for some unexplainable reason. Whenever I have ordered from Bernd I get the part when he says it will be there. I actually need to give him a call. Got a couple of parts to order.
As for the IAT, Bernd should have begun building those himself. He could have made a killing. But I don't know the whole story behind it other than there were manufacturer problems.

People, there's no reason to "slam" Dan Bennet on the decision to remove us from the DRTC list. If it's something they must do, I have to understand and respect that.
On a personal note, Dan is a stand up person and we have helped each other out a few times (email, phone call, or parts).

This is a learning experience for all those involved. Yes, Bernd has business issues to overcome and frankly, that's none of our business. I don't believe Bernd would purposely "cheat" his customers as so many have accused him of doing. I will continue to give Bernd my business (based on price and availablity of course! =)) If you feel cheated, use your own judgement in deciding whether or Speedtweaks will get future business from you. Don't rant about it. It'll get you nowhere. Time to recover from the losses and move on.

Hey guys, I know im not a member and my opinion does not carry any weight around here but I ordered an IAT adjuster from bernd over a year ago. I paid through paypal and never recieved any product or responses. I have emailed speedtweaks over 50 times with no success. I have tryed both email addresses. I am only out $40 but feel bad for those who were cheated out of much more. Anyhow, I am rarely on here, just wanted to check out some group buys and see whats been up with speedtweaks. Over a year is a long time and I dont see them having the nutz to defend themselves. I too had high hopes for this company. No respect coming from my way.
