Subject: M-1 and boost gauge IP: Logged
Message: Ok guys. I bought a M-1 and I'm wanting to stick my boost gauge fitting under the throttle body on the front side of the intake. My question is, isn't that where your suppose to put the sensor that was in the beer keg on the top passanger side of the intake? I don't have a t fitting with a male and two female ends. So can I leave that sensor off???????? Thanks as always guys.

Message: The IAT sensor can be placed somewhere downstream of your air cleaner. I don't think it would do well in a T fitting, but not sure. You could always make up an IAT adjuster from speedtweaks to allow the omitance of the sensor. If you run completely without it you will most likely get a service light.

Message: I get that light already because I don't have the factory coil hooked up. I have a supercharger so there no way I can put it inline on the discharge tube. I have a spot after the air filter on the intake side of the blower. I'm not to crazy of putting it in front of the impeller. I hate for it to break and get sucked into it.

Message: just use one of the ports on the side of the M1. thats where mine is connected, and it works great.
as for the IAT, you can just leave it out in the open. i have mine right beside the radiator sucking in cool air. i will probably move it when it rains though. the only down side it, it gets dirty, but it dosent effect it.
