Subject: KB SC info IP: Logged
Message: Picking up my 03 QC 4WD with 4.7 and manual 5 speed in a couple weeks. I have been doing some digging into the SC issue, and seems the best choice for me will be the KB twin screw. What will I be facing as far as other mods required for this? Exhaust, intake, EEC, etc? And if anyone has installed one of these, what was your experience with the KB kit, and how long did the job take? If I've asked for too much info to post here, feel free to e-mail me at jembry@sc.rr.com. Great board, you guys (and gals) are what made up my mind for the truck purchase in the first place - seems to be a ton of good experience here, with minimal flameage!

Message: If you are getting a KB, no other mods are required. In fact, they prefer that you are stock. The only other mod I have besides the s/c is my catbcack which I got a few months after the s/c. I think you will really like the KB, especially with a 5 speed. As for the install, check out www.jeepsunlimited.com. I think they have the installation instructions there along with some other info. Congrats on your new truck. Have fun!
