Subject: Bang for your buck IP: Logged
Message: So, bang for your buck, lets say cam versus super charger, super charger is going to run about 4K for say 6lbs of boost, how much would the cam cost (having a shop do it for you) vs performance boost compared to a SC?
And intake?
BTW, this is on an R/T
and what about computer stuff, would a new cam require computer mods?

Message: cams run around $150-$400.I've been told that to put cams in that you have to have the motor pulled and I don't think that's too cheap.I'd go ahead and save up for a supercharger.100 or more horsepower and better fuel economy is worth it.Check out the superchargers at speedtweaks.net or krcperformance.net
As far as the intake goes, do you mean air intake or intake manifold?
