Subject: Only for poeple that really knows!! IP: Logged
Message: can someone tell me how exactly are the resistor and the cap connected to the cables on the O2 sensor to cheat the PCM to think still has a CAT? I already have the components but I asked the guy that supposedly did it to his truck (conin) but he wasn't that much help or he couldn't really tell me how. So I was thinking someone did it for him. For example if the resistor goes on the signal wire, which color is the signal wire?, or if the cap goes between the signal and the output wire, Where? After the resistor of before the resistor? I will really appreciate any help. I already took the CAT out but still have to get rid of the MIL light.

Message: Well I didn't want to experiment myself cause I don't want to fry the PCM. I know there is a white and blue wire, which is which is what troubles me. If you have a way to find out or you know someone that knows, I will really appreciate it. Otherwise I would advice you not to experiment. I heard the PCM costs about $400 and is not worth frying it for a MIL light. But like I said if you know go for it and let me know. By the way mine is a 00 4.7L QC with only one CAT. Thanks in advance and I hope it works! my e-mail is (fred_guti@hotmail.com)
