Message: i have a 1999 5.2 liter v8,can someone tell me what the factory timing setting should be on that motor, and is there a way to adjust it from there, i am running a 125 nitrous shot on this motor and was told to retard the timing by 3degrees, can anyone help me, with some info thank you, thanks for everyone helping on the cam question i had before
Message: the only way u can initially set the time on a magnum is to have a DRBIII hooked up to it. you have to set the distributor is on the index mark made into the casting of the distributor housing. the only other options i know of is to use an adjustable timing controller or do some work on the crank sensor mounting in the top passenger side of the transmission. if u need some info on that mod i can email u the whole deal.
