Does anyone know if you are required to get new shocks when you get the hotchkis lowering kit?

Many people have reported that it rides like total sh*t if you don't get the Bilsteins that are customed valved for the specific Hotchkis kit. You can't even buy just regular Bilsteins.

But you are not required to buy those. You will just bruise your kidneys til you do.

The kit will have been in vain if you don't get the Bilsteins. Although I ran stock shocks on it for a few a few days. The difference is night and day.

There's a guy out there his nick name is KIWI,
he's got a fast R/T CC, with the full Hotchkis.
When he went over speed bumps it was so
tight that the rear wheels felt like they where
coming off the ground. He called Hotchkis and
ask for a little softer ride. They sent him the
Bilsteins for the RC, and he said his ride is
perfect.

Has anyone used anything besides the bilsteins? Anything cheaper? I could almost buy a supercharger for what I am going to be spending on my suspension.

Lots of people have tried lots of variations and tried to not spend as much money.

The ones who end up finally buying the Hotchkis-engineered Bilsteins are the only ones who are happy with the ride.....
