 Subject: track only mods

Took my 95 peg leg to 1/8th mile track. Ran 10.2 at 69.95. Everyone says I should be in the high nines with that mph if I could get traction. I cant afford to buy a posi. What mods do you suggest ONLY at the track that can get me into the 9's?

One wide, sticky slick on a 15" wheel.
Gibson Dual Sport, AirForce One air intake, Jet II, Jet TBS, 180 stat, IAT, TPS, no viscous fan, Lakewood traction bars, "Wilson" antenna ball...when are we gonna see some real parts??!!

May I expand on that a little....
If you can afford it, you can-
-get a pair of slicks, try medium soft compound,
15" wheels like Rat suggested..
-get a good pair of trac bars (Lakewoods are around 30-40 bucks or so..
-get some weight plates at yer local sporting goods store. Experiment as to a good placement in the bed over the axle (find something to hold 'em down...)
Anything else I can suggest involves a Sawzall and relocating/replacing body parts. (Happy Halloween)..I mean, body parts off the truck...
