Message: The only dyno #'s I have seen was on a 5.2 with mods that was slightly modded.
The baseline was ran with the stock exhaust manifolds, the stock Y-pipe, with the Flowmaster dual cat-back, Mopar pcm and 108 thermostat.
Before:
hp: 209.4 torque: 259.9
Thats around stock 360 hp rating and about 20ft-lbs less
After:
htp: 227.4 torque: 287.6
A 360 should get a little more from the same set-up.
This equates to rear wheel increase of 18 horsepower and 27.7 ft/lbs. of torque! If you run these numbers through the drive line loss formula (divide by .82) you get 21.95 horsepower and 33.78 ft/lbs. The headers were Doug Thorley Tri-y's. Mopar performance headers are similar and might be made for your truck depending on the year. They add 15hp and 20ft-lbs on a bone stock motor in a magazine I have.
This info and the Dyno runs can be found at www.mikesdakota.com
Hope this helps
