Hey slow2dak,
What do you mean you, " unplugged line pressure sensor" I take it it's in your auto trans right?

Did it do much? and are there any possibilities that something can go wrong?

ont the 45rfe trans, if you unplug the line pressure sensor, it will in fact make the trans shift a tad harder. what happens is the tcm and the psm use the values from the tps, map and so ont to create the values for the line pressure sensor. when u unplug it, no check engine light and waa-laa, a lil bit more of that crisper shift uve been looking for.

Kicker01 I'll be out this friday and I'll bring the slicks. It's time for the 14's.

Hey slow2dak,
I did a search on this topic and Cw stated that it may cause your O/D not to kick in, have you had any problems with it yourself? one last thing.... where is the sensor, and if possible do you have a pic or could you take one so I know what the hell I'm unplugging? Thanks for the tip man

2.20 with 275/60/15's at about 28 psi. 97 dak 5.2L auto rc 3.9's with many mods. Usually in the 2.3 to 2.4 range. The track I go to is very slippery so it is a little frustrating trying to get traction. Still get 90 mph in the quarter though.

Also Lakewood Traction Bars

It's hard to launch with any more RPM than 2,800 without frying the tires, and at 2,800, you have to slip it.

hey, clevite 77, i havent had any probs with my o/d and my 45rfe. it works just as it should but under WOT it shifts a lil harder than with it plugged in. if you have a 4.7, 45rfe combo, then the line pressure sensor is on the passenger side of the transmission about 1/2 inch before the tailshaft bolts to the case. look for the bolts that bolt the tailhousing to the tranny case and it will be right there. dont have any pics but ill see if i can swing it for you guys who wanna know.
