Hey I am a Dak owner but my buddy is looking into getting the Stratus Coupe R/T. The only problem is that he said he heard bad things about the 3.0 mitsubishi engine in them. Anyone know if this is a good car or if there are any problems with them. Any info would be appreciated

I haven't heard anything bad about the motor. The mitisu. motors have normally been pretty reliable. I did see that there is a vortech kit for the r/t that produced 335hp @ the wheels on the test car. They think the kit will be built for a little less boost than the 10psi on the test car.

My wife has a 2001 Stratus RT and she loves it. I like the autostik in it. Tell your friend to get the polished wheels. They look a lot better than the silver wheels. K&N doesn't have a filter listed for it but by cross referencing I found the K&N filter for the Avenger fits. It's a good car with good power, I just wish it were rear wheel drive.

I'm trying to convince my mom to buy a WRX. She loved her old Subarus in the past and want's a new one. She's leaning more towards the Outback though. Noooooo!
