So I'm out today, coming back up a twolane road coming from Nashvegas back to the town I live in, and I run up behind some clown poking along in a ranger. Seeing I was catching up to him, I eased up off the gas, and figured to coast up behind him and bide my time - there were no more passing lanes left on this particular road. Where it comes to a T intersection, it crosses a humped bridge going into town, and the road 4 lanes where the T is - he slows up, and gets into the far lane merging into traffic, looks over at me (who is about 3/4 pissed that this guy has driven 35 mph for the last 3 miles) and nails it about the time I drop second gear and stand in it to go around him. Off we go. I really didn't *want* to race him, but since he insisted - I wind second out, and drop 3rd - he's steady falling back. I flip my blinker on, and change lanes - because only his lane goes straight into town - and keep the hammer down. He pulls out from behind me and catches another gear. Damn. Well, I'm not pulling past 60 because the speed limit drops to 30 on the other side of the bridge. Thats ok, at 60 he backs off too. By this time, the guy in my passenger seat is laughing his @$$ off. This is funnier than just my 5100 pound 4.7 quad cab dusting off a regular cab ford ranger. Much better. Did I mention I was pulling a 2000 pound landscape trailer? (beat that)

nice......i love on the fly street races, havn't picked on i couldn't win. my latest two good ones were an "extreme" and a chevy 1500 uphill south bound on the grapevine. when will they learn that a dodge on the fly is a force to be reconed with????????

No, the QC is not light, but mine is probly a couple hundred pounds heavier than most - between the hanson bumper, my tool box and jack, and the mp3 system I keep in the truck. I won't even count the reciever hitch since I see a lot of daks with those.

man i saw that new hemi-ram commercial today, that just about pushed me to my breaking limit. for god sakes dodge hurry it up and make the srt8 would i cant take it anymore im gonna freak out.
