My buddy is supposed to be bringing a set of slicks for my truck to the track tonight. I have a 01' 4.7L RC 5spd. 3.92 LSD and 100 Shot of "The Gas". So am I going to break something or will the truck hold together ????????????????

Depends on when you hit the nitrous. Hit it in third you will be fine, hit it in second... Well lets just see what happens.

i've got a 4.7 rc 2000 5 speed 3:92.i launch mildly off the line in first,tach out,shift to sec.,tach out,shift third(slam it to the floor,flip switch.)it tachs up to redline after the shot(75hp)nail forth.activating the nitrous in third is been the best for me.

He wasn't able to get the slicks for last night, but it did run 14.1 @ 99 mph. I was a bad night for everybody because of the humidity. My budy was running 4 tenths slower than his nurmal times.
4.7on-nitrous Do you have any 1/4 mile times ????
