 Subject: Engine Speed at a dead start

I have a reg cab, 97 dak, 5.2, 5spd, with the 3.90 limited slip differintial. I was wondering if anybody has experimented with a good clutch droping engine speed that don't spin much and takes off really quick. I figure since I have a limited slip diff that I would might be ok to take off from a dead start. Also does anyone have a good rolling start speed to kick at. We have local sponsored drag races that you can participate in either take off, and I would rather not be testing this stuff out on police patrolled roads. Thanks for you suggestions!!!!
