I'm in surrey, Newton area, by OZONE. I got a Intense Blue clubcab sport 5.2 5-speed. I've had it for 4 years, and if any of you visit surrey at all I'm sure you have seen it at one point or another. I used to have an ILLUSIONS SPL TEAM decal in the back window.
As for mods I got:
power: No muffler, loaner F&B ported & polished throttle body, cold air intake with K&N cone filter, adjusted TPS.
cosmetics: painted mirrors, door handles, wipers, dash, taillight outline, decal between door and CC windows removed, clear front markers, streetscene wipercowl, sirmichaels rollpan, lorider toneau cover, WW bumpercover, indiglo guages, 3-guage A-pillar pod (future use), painted red diff cover and spring hanger to match poly bushings, CD player, and 4-12" subs in the cab. Oh I almost forgot, ghost tribal flames on the hood and down the sides to the back of the cab.

I've had two R/Ts since 99 and recently sold my amber fire 2000 club cab to a kid in Surrey. You might see it around. Lowered, twin pipes out the back, factory decals in chrome on the side, tonneau, roll pan and tint. I used to be in Abbotsford, then Cloverdale and now Coquitlam.

all us dak owners should get together for a cruise one day around downtown, too bad mission wasn't still open for street legals we all could have gotten together there and did some runs.

Sounds good to me. dropt98, i saw your truck at langley chrylser getting worked on once. liked the look. By the way everyone, i saw a dakota ghost cop in cloverdale yesterday. It was a black 2002 4x4 dakota, with a black canopy. So everyone watch out when you are flying by other dakotas trying to get them to race cause it might just pull you over instead!!!

yeah, that would have been close to a year ago. It was there getting the engine and tranny pulled so it could get a new frame put under it.
A friend of mine got pulled over by one of the dakota coppers in port kells awhile ago and my father-in-law saw a green one with a car pulled over between the tunnel and second narrows bridge a few months ago.

hey Chad, would your ported TB fit on my 3.9l?? Im looking for any cheap parts cause i am only 20 and dont have much money, haha. Also, does anyone know of a good place to get my windows tinted around here?? I had them tinted but i have to take them off for a vehicle inspection, and i want to get it done again afterwards, but i want a better place. Somewhere that does a good job, maybe covers the whole window instead of leaving that little bit at the top not tinted. Or even better, if anyone knows of a vehicle inspection place that wont care about tinted windows??? Some cop pulled me over for illegal crap and now i have to get a vehicle inspection.

Im In Delta... I went to Richmond to a place called "IDEAL" tint and detail plus.
They are sub contracted by broco. They were pretty good. But they did leave that little 1mm gap at the top.. but you cant see it when the windows are up. And they were really good about re doing the windows if there is any bubbles. And they were really cool guys.
I got my Back window 10% and passenger/driver windows done 35% And im happy with them.
I did get nailed at the border of B.C. / Alberta though by the stupid rcmp roadblocks in the middle of the day and in the middle of no where !
But just a warning and said screw it .. and its been fine since.

yeah that was me, that was the shop that did my $14,000 icbc claim and did the tribal ghost flames on my truck. They do all the paint work for allterationz. My truck was the first flame job that they had done.
I stopped by to see when I could bring it back in so they can re-adjust my hood and bumper.

Hi Grant. Yep, it would work fine on your 3.9L, but Dakotakidd is in line first for it :)
I had a couple of cars done by Ideal. I know the owner. He personally did my 97 Avenger when it was new. Awesome job. He's won some awards for his tinting too. Now that he has a shop (2 actually), they did my 3-day old Neon. 20% on front sides and 5% on back windows. Yes, highly illegal ;O) The Surrey location did it first. Messed it up. Bubbles everywhere and got soapy water solution ALL OVER my brand new leather seats!!! RIchmond location re-did it, after going there and not making my appt. for the time they said it was, went back and again, they were behind (what the hell is the point of appts?), did a decent job, and did not clean the spots like they said they would.
All in all, I was unimpressed and would not recommend them. I had my R/T done at Eclipse in Abbotsford. Excellent work!

Hey everyone, I say, before the weather turns bad we should get everyone together and go for a cruize somewhere. I was thinking down in whiterock by the beach, people love to see sweet trucks down there and we could all show off! I'll got for a bit, depending on what would already be planned. What someone should do is make some posters up and post them at some parts stores like: BestBuy (owner has a dak), Lordcos, Mopac (worker there has one) I know a couple other guys with daks. I could post a message on the nwdrt board and see if any washington persons would wanna come up.
The last dakota cruise I was on was great, met up with the washington/oregon guys at the 176 boarder crossing went into W.R. for breakfast then cruised out to Harrison then into downtown then to Cactus Club on lougheed for dinner.
