I think you might need a little laughing gas to whoop a Ws6.
My best 1/8th time is 9.286 @ 75
Club Cab R/T with all the bolt ons.

8.95 and i have beat several Z28 but have lost to several also. Never seen a ws6 at the track though.

Most stock WS-6's and SS's around here run 8.0-.20's@85mph in the 1/8 and respond real well to mods. One of my good friends runs an '00 SS Camaro 6-speed and runs 7.10's@101mph in the 1/8 slightly bogging off the line, it has home ported heads with stock 2.0/1.60 valves , LS-6 intake , .570 Hyd Roller , bigger TB and airbox lid , Dynatech long tubes and 4" single exhaust with cutout , McLeod clutch , 12 bolt with 4.56's , 28x10 Goodyear slicks on Draglites and skinnys on Draglites on the front.
I am a Die Hard Mopar guy but I am pretty impressed with with the LS-1/6 engines.
