 Subject: 3.9l Mopar performance computers?

So browsing dragtruk.com i have seen a few people claiming to have 3.9l Mopar Performance Computers. I didnt think that they made them for the V6's much less the gen II's.
Can anyone shed some light on this.

I have never seen one listed. Have been getting the mopar catalog since 85. I guess dodge forgot to tell mopar that they built a v-6 MAGNUM..
There sure was a lot for the non-mag though. Block,heads,cams,intakes. They even offered a crate v-6 for a while that was advertised at 160hp.

It could be a custom flash. There are a few dealers around that will change perameters.

No No No. Mopar Performance made performance computers for the 3.9 v6 (92 and 93). I think they stopped selling them in 97 or so due to low demand.
I love mine :))

Dodgeboy says to use a pre 94, MP still makes them and he says he personally knows someone who is using one on his 95 (I think 95).

Thanks for the responses guys! Yeah i noticed that they can reflash my computer, but i was kinda hoping to find one already flashed so i didnt have much downtime. This is my daily driver.

If you have a performance shop in your area they can reflash them or burn a custom chip for you in a few hours.

I found something that looks interesting on the summit racing website.
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=12402
In the description it states that "Peak improvements with the 3.9L engine are 10 HP and 15 ft.-lbs. of torque" Even though this is the 5.2 liter version.
What do ya think could it work with both or is just a typo?

No typo but the V-6 one is probally more like 5hp and 15ftlbs of torque plus you must also run 91+ octane fuel. Total down time about 4 minutes
