 Subject: HAVE YOU SEEN THIS DAK?

I live in the San Diego area and a buddy of mine bought a red 97 cc, 318 today. An awsome truck. But a couple of things stuck in my head as i gave it the "evil eye."
1. The truck was TRICKED OUT at some piont in time. performance exaust, custom leather, some kind of decal on the tailgate, chrome rims, and its been dropped a bit. The dealer said there were many more mods done to it, but the guy took them out/off before he brought it in.
2. This truck has only 17,500 miles on it. Which says to me either of two things:
a) it was a drag truck
b) it was a show truck
Now, that said, this truck was clean as hell, and ran real nice, so I'm subject to believe it was the latter. I was hoping that some one here on the Dakota underground may have seen this truck. And has some useful info. Thanks.

I would bet anythng that that was the dakuda. Jim Harmon owned it. That truck was used as the test truck for so many things. it was converted from auto to 5 speed and even had 4 wheel disc brakes. I don't remember the website but it was one bad ass truck and it was inalot of mags and shows.

If it is Jim Harmon, you can look thru Mopar Muscle's archives and see a LOT of what was done/undone to the truck before your buddy bought it. It was featured in there plenty.

yeah he had viper breaks on it, and the RT cam might still be in it
