Subject: Trans Go Problems IP: Logged
Message: I have installed a trans go kit in my 2000 RT.I installed the resistor and at first at light throttle it would shift1-2 at 2600rpm,same for 2-3.Well after maybe 2-3weeks it shifts like a stock trans except at WOT,barks 1-2 shift.Fluid is not burnt.Anybody have the same thing happen.

Message: I'm not running the resistor and seems to be working just fine. Good shifts not mushy. The PCM will try to adjust a little for the upgrade, but not sure at what extent.
I hope this helps

Message: When the kit was installed tried driving it before installing the resistor.Did overhaul the tranny due to a 1-2 flareup and some clutches burnt up.Now its not that it really shifts sloppy, its just weird that it shifted so hard for awhile and now at anything less then WOT it fells like just a fresh stocker.Had to use resistor because it felt like it was getting confused between gears.
