LOL ... I know what its like to have 'problems' with the woman not letting you do mods ... as far as tools, you'll need nothing more than a socket set (or just the right socket ... I think its 10mm?? I dunno, its been a while since I had mine off).

Its incredibly straight forward to remove, and you don't need a gasket as the one on there is reusable rubber.

10mm for the stock air hat if still in place. 8mm for the throttle body bolts.

2001 4.7 5sp 3.92 LSD
Ported 68mm TB, IAT adjuster, 3" flowmaster cat back, TPS @ .76V, 4" Z-tube, Roadmaster active suspention, Removed Third cat, Electric fan Convertion, HO cams, Robert shaw 180 therm, HO intake manifold.
