Message: Lesley,
I thought I remember you saying you had the "double shift" problem with your tranny a while back. I have this problem, and was wondering what you did to fix this. Was it one or more of the sensors in the tranny, or something else? Thanks for your time.

What is the problem? I am just about 100% sure her mechanic replaced the govenor pressure sensor and solinoid. The sensor will fail going to a default setting that will cause early shifts or second gear starts. Basicly poor trans performance.

Message: Thanks CW!! Will this also cause the 1-2 shift hitting the rev limiter problem? This is where it requires lifting off the throttle to make it shift, otherwise it hits the rev limiter.

Message: Mills - for the brake calipers, any high heat paint will work fine. You can buy actual "Brake caliper" paint but I used engine block enamel on mine and it has been on there a year now with no prob. Just make sure to clean up the calipers with some brake cleaner before painting them and mask your rotors etc. real well
Cheers!
