the old mopar cam sucked. many people used it with the 1.7's.

the new one i have heard is better, but i have not really talked to a lot of people with it. you can always have a custom grind cam made for your 1.7's

talk to sam AKA rtdkota. he has a custom cam on his RT, and can make you one too.

Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown.

Yep, that's me... You provide the core, $200.00 for a regrind to run with your 1.7s... or $280.00 for a new core... non regrind. .512/512 with your 1.7s... works with stock heads, or 1.92 Magnum RT heads (that's what I have).

Good low end (same as stock with stock intake manifold), excellent midrange, and a SWWWEEEET top end (that hits about 5400-5500 rpm).

290 rwhp now with the converter and other mods... A/F coming in at 12.5---

1 week lead time on a new cam--

Sam

Hey Sam weird to talk at you on this side of the fence. lol!

How much of a gain could one expect by just changing out the stock cam (keeping stock heads and so on) with your re-grind? I guess we would also need some adjustable 1.7RRs and what else?

Hey Sam, I am interested in that CAM deal. I also would like to know if anyone you know is running the KRC 2.02 ported heads with that same CAM and having good results? Only reason I ask is I am going to replace my 318 for a 360 at X-mas time, and Marty is going to get me some heads.
