Subject: 70mm TB ? IP: Logged
Message: I just installed my 70mm CNC F/B TB,
Everything works great, idles fine, response is good, I'm waiting for my PCM to relearn.
But the gas pedel feels a little different, alsmost as if the throttle cable is having to pull harder? Kinda feels like it is vibrating just a little bit?
Anyone else have this?

Message: I think I know what it is but no clue how to fix?
The throttle cable itself seems to have a little slack in it, the feeling that I'm feeling in the pedal is the cable slack pulling down into the groove of the "pulley thing". (excuse the advanced terminology)
Is this normal?
Can it be adjusted?

Message: Your not the only one that noticed the gas pedel vibrating after a TB istallation. Of the posts I've read, most recommend E-mailing the F/B rep to find a solution. From what I remember, there is a way to correct the problem.

Message: Pedal vibe is due to intake manifold design-- the stock airhat (it's actually a 90 degree elbow) has the correct baffles to cancel out the vibes. If you were to remove the stock 'airhat' on a stock TB, you'd also have a slight vibe. Put the stock airhat back on, run an airaid style intake with filter after that.
Make sure you have the cable routed over the cable 'horn' guide... check everything again routing wise.
