Whenever you do something to your engine regarding fuel or electrical you should reset your PCM. As a matter of fact doing #1 below should be a rule when messing with something electrical, e.g., IAC cleaning or R&R. It will never hurt to reset your PCM it but it might hurt if you don't.
Here we go:
1) Disconnect your neg. battery cable.
2) Put your key in the ignition and tirn all the way to START and hold for 15 seconds.
3) Take your key out.
4) Reconnect your neg. battery cable.
You're good to go.
