Don't quote me on this but I believe they say about 200 miles - did you reset the pcm?

after my resets for HO cams it made a difference after about 180-250 miles.....but after about 650 miles it was like a whole new engine! I guess i have a slow learning comp

The 4.7L has a VERY slow learning process. The regular Magnum engines (V6/V8) take about 200-250 miles max.
