Message: A short belt, cold air intake and a set of slicks.
Remove the clutch fan, spare tire, tailgate and put 50psi of air in the front tires. Let the engine get stone cold. Stage shallow and nail the throttle from an idle. Put the shifter in 2nd so the truck does it's own 1-2 shift and manually shift it at 5200 rpms into 3rd with the overdrive button in the "off" position.

Message: u think putting the mbrp single cat back exhaust on and the stage 3 intense performance intake could get me to run in the really high 14s??

Message: what do you have? CC or RC? If it is RC you probably don't have to do much. If your going to go with an intake, go with the K&N FIPK. I put my kit in this weekend and am absolutely amazed by the feel in power.
If you got the K&N and put it in yourself, you would have roughly 500-550 to spend. does B&G Do custom flashes for the 2003 models?Maybe go with a custom flash? would probably end up close to 800, and defanitely have you running in the 14's

Message: the RT's already come with a high flow muffler, so the only thing you will gain with ANY muffler is a differant sound
-Eric Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown. 5.2L, 5speed. Powerdyne SC, 50mm TB, 2bbl M-1, 1.7RR's, MSD 6BTM, ciramic JBA headers, carsound cat, dumped gibson

Message: Polished TB and ditch the clutch fan. Do a shift kit if possible. Get the 180 t-stat and an adjustable thermal switch (I think Summit has them) for the electric fan so you can set it to 185 or so. Move your IAT sensor to the intake tube before the TB. I will bet you will get your 14.9
Your exhaust stock will work better if left alone, at least until you start playing with manifolds, cams, ect...
