Subject: How do I remove idler arm/end links?
IP: Logged

Message:
I stripped my idler arms in a very horrible way, but I have replacements now. I checked my manual to see how they come off and it shows them just coming off. I hate manuals sometimes. My dad's known to call Toyota directly and ask how to do something. I was wondering if anyone here knew how these things came off, thanks.

What part are you talking about because the steering system in your truck doesn't use idler arms.

Are they called just "end links" then? They are those little pieces that connect the sway bar to the lower arm.

Swaybar links. What problem are you having? Stuck in the bottom at the control arm? You will have to pound it out with a hammer. I actualy haven't done them yet.
