 Subject: Robert Shaw 180 T-Stat??

Well, i went to Auto Zone yesturday and i brought the P/N for the Robert Shaw 180 T-Stat (GT755) and I asked the guy working the parts counter if he could bring the part up on the computer and then order it if they didnt have it in stock. Well before he even entered it in the computer, he told me that They dont Carry "Robert Shaw". He said they only carry their brand and some other brand. So i said ok and walked out.
Where should i go to get a RobertShaw 180 T-Stat???... We have Autozone, Advance Auto parts, PepBoys and Napa. I have only tried Autozone. Also, is the part number i have Correct???
All the help will be appreciated!

Order one from SpeedTweaks.net. It only took about 5 days to get here to Germany and it's Only about $10 includeing shipping.

You won't be sorry! Mine came in three days. But you have the labor day weekend to contend with now. :0(
It made a drastic difference in the operating temp of my truck. I guess the old one was going bad, because it would climb past 210 in traffic (Not much, but close to the 3/4ths mark). Now it sits rock-steady at 180 with the A/C on.

I went to Auto Zone looking for the 180. I was told by the clerk that they DO carry Robert Shaw products but they don't have any R.S. T-stats newer than 1999. Even their "look up the part number yourself" catalog only went up to 1999. I thought this was just a Northern California phenomenon but based on all the posts I've read (many, many) it seems to happen everywhere.
