Hey Waltherone, you should have read the whole message. He stated that he has over 500 lbs of stereo equipment in his truck and he doubt it would even come close to the 13s. He was going off some numbers published by Motor Trend. Now I can't verify the info from MT. FYI

I read the message, but YOU read the message again--he said his bone stock 4.7 runs 13.3's. He says it can't NOW because of the stereo, yes, but his point is, bone stock, right from the dealer, his truck ccould run that(with the absence of the stereo), when in reality it wasn't even CLOSE to that.

Good god, that is a definite ricer site. Those guys dont know anything about hp or engines. Did you see the guy on there with the 97 dak 4x4 says he makes 296 hp at the rears. Those are the kids that give every motor enthusiast a bad name!

Yeah, he SAID he got the numbers from Motor Trend.... but he mixed up the 3s and 5s!
If you put in 5s instead of 3s you get the right numbers!!!
And then of course there's the issue that the rest of the members of that site aren't educated enough to even catch the mistake.

Nah the b18c5 from an integra type r he speaks of (not the b16 as someone said) has 195 HP stock, wouldn't be hard and DEFINITELY wouldnt require a turbo to get to 250 HP

In motor trend they state a 15.3 I believe with a Quad Cab 4.7 Auto. Which isn't that slow for a truck. I don't think any stock truck can run 13.3's except the ford lighting. Or the cyclone or typhoon or whatever.

yeah but the itr engine is extremely limited production because part of it is hand assembled and the engine is balanced and blueprinted from the factory.
