 Subject: Thermo exchange question

What is the easiest route to access the thermostat? Seems like a lot of frame in the way from underneath and I can really only access the top bolt from above.
This sparkplug/Coil on top setup is pretty basic correct? I just need to be careful removing the coils off each plug and its the same old plug changeout after that right? Unscrew, pull, and rescrew new ones in? Carefully put coils back on and screw in place?
Newbie Dakota Owner needing to get involved in truck more.
