Has anyone tried the ASP underdrive pully on the 4.7 yet....good/bad results? Do you think its worth 160 bucks? And will reducing the drive on a/c, water pump, alt, pwr steer, have bad effects?

have not but would be more than willing If I could install it myself. were did you find it for $160.00? there was someone who was supposed to try it.

i think it was at rpmoutlet.com they claim 8hp/27trq, but you know how that goes. i highly doubt it is that much

I was about to order one. But then I ran out of money for mods. Plus...I'm still no sure if I should get a larger alternater first. Seems like a cool mod though. Someone also once told me that the underdrive pulley should be one of the last mods you do. I never heard why that is though.

I remember reading that it should be a last mod as well. however I don't know why because removing parasitic drag will not affect other horsepower weither it's your only mod or last mod.
do I need any special tools to install this? I was going to order a set of nerfbars but If I can install this myself I'll put those on hold.
