Message: I looked at the S-Bolt instructions but I dont understand how you bent the rod? Also what is it exactly used for? I think it is for the throttle body to hold the hat on, but im not sure. Is this instead of the large plate on the bottom of the stock rod?
Thanks!!!

Message: Yes it is so that you dont have to have that plate there, they say that it resticts the flow.

Message: I bent mine in a vise on my work bench. If you don't have one, you can use a couple pair of vise grips or pliers, it just won't look as nice. But then again, no one will see it inder the airhat either.

Message: Use 2 nuts back to back on the threaded rod at the point that needs to be bent, put the vise or vise grips on the nuts not on the threads.
Good luck
