I have a '99 R/T RC with the following mods:
Mopar PCM
MSD 6A
MSD Plug Wires
MSD Blaster SS Coil
Autolite 3923s
180 T-stat
Mopar Headers
True Dual Exhaust
Mopar M1 2bbl.
Relocated IAT
TPS to .750v
Airaid Intake
Holley 52mm throttle body
FMS 24# Injectors
My problem is,I put in the injectors and throttle body last night before going to the track, the truck seems to fall on its face at about 900 ft. Right after it shifts into 3rd gear. Could my computer not have learned them yet? Any help would be appreciated.

24lb injectors are too much for your truck. It is probably over fueling. I have seen guys with your mods and ported R/T heads and the 24s were still too much. Try a set of 19s and leave the 24s until you get a supercharger.

I don't have any lights on. And it pulls like hell off the line, through first, through second, then shifts in to third, the shift is good but falls right there.
Why would it only do this in third and not through first and second?

It used to pull real hard in third gear before the TB and injectors. I think I am going to reset the computer and get on the highway and run it to 120-130 and cruise at different speeds to help it learn, then go back to the track and see what happens.
I think I need a supercharger!!

hey if you dont get a supercharger and want someone to take those injectors off your hands, ill be willing to buy them from you.
2000+ dakotas have 24# injectors right? and 1999- have 19# no?

I have a set I would like to sell $100 plus shipping for a set of 8. Too much for my 5.2. Ran like crap, hard to start when hot, and eratic idle when cold. Replaced with balanced oem's, problem solved.
