How does it sound? I listened to a soundbyte and it sounded weird, like it had a little bit of a chainsaw starting when you pull the cord. Anyone tell me different on the truck? Please respond.

I actually have the split rear on my 4.7L 4x4. Sounds great!! I will actually replace it next year with a flowmaster ONLY becuase I am replacing the headers and Cat with 100% 3" plumbing in preparation for a Kenne Bell Turbo Charger.

Sounds awesome. Not too loud but turns a lot of heads. I'm using the dual sport side exit on my MY02 4.7 QC.

Can't tell you how it will sound with a 3.9.

my experiance between the sound of the 6 vs the 8 is limited only to teory. However the only difference in tone I would forsee would be the 6 might be a bit higher pitch than the 4.7. Either way it should sound really nice.

I have heard split rears on a couple of 3.9's, and I didn't like it. Sounds kinda hollow and ricey. I went with the swept side single on my 3.9, and that sounds pretty good. Not too loud when cruising, but enough to startle somebody at full throttle.
