im getting my exhaust done as soon as the lift is done, so what would be the best size pipe for exhaust for my '98 dak, 5.2 4x4 ? ive seen people with the 3" and also 2.5" i use the truck for comuting to work and towing an 18' trailer with 6 quads down to the dunes. i was thinking about buying a magnaflow or dynomax muffler, then taking that to a muffler shop.....cutting the CAT out and moving it forward next to the transfer case, put the muffler where the CAT was, and running mandrel bent pipe all the way back. so will this work, and if so what size exhaust would be best for me??

correction, i looked again and meant to say move the CAT up by the tranny and now ill probly leave the muffler in the same spot.....c'mon guys....anyone have any input?

2.5" and get a high flow cat. No need to move it forward.
