Subject: VIPER BRAKES IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone tried to install the front brakes off of a Viper on a Dakota. I was told my my local dealer that the bolt patterns are the same as the early Vipers. Parts alone run about $800. and then some slight modifications have to be made or so i have been told but this sounds almost to easy. Any body out there have any Info.

Message: yep, its been done, but you might have a
problem getting the wheel back on. the one
guy that did this had a hard time finding
aftermarket wheels that would fit with the viper
brakes on.

Message: you need a 16" wheel in the rear, and at least a 17" for the front.
i know the guy who can get deals on them for around $1200 for front and rear. that includes the breaks and adapter kit.
