and the dodge motorsports on the window eyebrow, or, should i save the 50.00 bucks and make a homemade intake?

no one seems to go by the old "walk softly and carry a big stick" code anymore. I would MUCH rather my truck be faster than it looks, instead of being just another of a million slow vehicles that looks fast.
only an opinion, though.

Bigdakota97, I'm all for going fast before looking like I can go fast, but that's just me. If you see some decals you really like, get 'em. Your the one driving the truck, not these guys.
It won't make you a "ricer" unless you think and act like the decals gave you a lot of extra horsepower. Wanting to race everyone in town after installing the decals is NOT something you should do. This would tend to make you look like the "ricers"....that is unless your not stock anymore and can back it up with some real mopar power!
Putting some cool graphics on your truck will NOT make you a "poser" either. Unless your putting stickers like Dakota R/T on something that obviouly isn't. Or maybe Comp Cams stickers, Kenne Bell, Flowmaster stickers, ect. when you don't have things like that actually installed.
Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents out on this one. You apparantly like the way the stickers look. I say get them, you'll probably enjoy them more than the homemade intake.

Ive got SS chrome grilles and plan on putting SS roll pan, stilen bumper cover this month. I also have a metallica decal on my back window. I do not think I look like a ricer nor do I act like it. I added these appearance mods because I thought they looked nice and since there about 1 million dakotas around here (seriously), I wanted it to look different. Decals (or appearance mods) = Ricer? I don't think so.

The only visible thing that might clue someone in that my truck has any speed to it at all is the traction bars. Kinda hard to hide two large chrome things hanging from the springs.
I've always wanted to get a heavily hopped up Buick Roadmaster Wagon just because I'd almost never get a ticket.
Officer: I clocked that corvette doing 102MPH, ticket time...wait, did it just get outran by that station wagon? *checks radar gun*

Like my friend with the outback. Which is actualy pretty quick.
He speeds more than anyone I have ever met...everywhere. And I have seen him blow by cops way over the speed limit. But they always pull over the mustangs or the firebirds. Not the grocery getter doing 10 over the rustang.
Every time I see something that looks cool...I consider buying it. Then figure I'll save up for stuff to get more power (which is why I have about 2 grand saved up). And why I don't care about the dents in the bumper, or the damage to the side of the body (under passenger door) which was there when I bought it. Whos gonna think a truck with body damage (And scratches from my off roading adventures) will be fast? And whose gonna break into a pickup truck with some dings on it to steal CD's or my stero?

the last thing you want to do is look fast. One of the fastest cars I have seen was a b-10, datshun that looked like dog dirt and that thing would flat out go. People would be straight blown away by how fast that thing was.
