Message:
i was looking at the hughesengines web page, and comparing their stock TB airflow numbers with their modified TB airflow numbers....

for a v6 application, it seems as though you would get more airflow with a stock v8 intake vs a modified v6 intake....

are there any other advantages to using a modified TB (like Hughes) rather than going with a stock v8 TB on a v6?

why not just go with a stock v8 TB?

The work done on a ported and polished TB allows much better air flow than stock. I would opt for Bruce Bridges' (Flometrics) new billet TB for the V6's once it's released.

Good news. The V6 48 mm billet TB has been released and is for sale. This is a work of art and perfect for the 3.9 V6. Go to:
http://www.flometrics.com/TBhomepage.html or write to Bruce at: bbridges@flometrics.com
